What to Expect
One to one Consultations
Before you commit to anything, we shall have a free, no obligation chat about your health issues to make sure that my services are right for you.
Consultations can be at my home, between Bristol and Bath, or via Skype, or FaceTime. Alternatively, I can visit you at home on request (travel costs may be charged, depending on location).
I will then send you a health questionnaire, which includes a 3-day food diary (also available to download), for you to fill out and get back to me before I see you. This should take about 20 minutes.
During your first appointment, I will discuss your case history with you and explain what’s causing your symptoms.
I may carry out certain simple and non-invasive tests during our consultation e.g. blood pressure and visual signs.
Together we will create a step-by-step nutritional and lifestyle programme, that is designed specifically for you. It will be practical and achievable; working at your pace, setting realistic goals and timescales.
It will aim to help support your body’s natural balance and vitality, allowing it to function more efficiently.
You will leave with a written report containing my recommendations, supported by relevant fact sheets, including details of supplements and any relevant external tests, if required.
A follow-up appointment is usually scheduled for 4 weeks after the initial consultation. There, we will discuss your progress, and I may provide further information and advice to develop your programme. Future consultations (if needed), are spaced every two to six weeks apart, depending on your circumstances and health goals.
Email and telephone support is available between consultations, if needed.
Please note: It is advisable to consult your doctor of any changes you intend to make to your diet, especially if you are on medication. Nutritional therapy should not be considered a replacement for conventional treatment.
